Taking care of a chicken egg for health class? Easy. Taking care of an actual human child? That is harder. But both situations face Harper Ales, a single mother in a fictional reality where babies hatch from eggs. Harper must decide if she has the support and resources to safely care for her egg, or pursue alternate options for the good of her child.

Embryo is an uplifting, empowering look into the struggles of single and birth mothers. It was filmed over one weekend during the height of the Coronavirus lockdown in 2020 by a small crew of students from Regent University.
